From the Omaha World-Herald:
Armstrong looks ready to go
"The report was promising on Tommy Armstrong as the quarterback went through his first heavy work Tuesday since being sidelined by a turf toe-like injury.
Armstrong did not travel to Purdue after missing all of last week. That stopped a stretch of 22 consecutive starts for the junior.
“It didn’t seem to bother him at all today, being able to push off on that foot,” Langsdorf said. “And I think he looked like he’s healthy and ready to go.”
A week ago, Langsdorf admitted, he wasn’t sure Armstrong would be improved this much by this point.
“I think he had a lot of good treatment and is feeling better and better, so that’s positive,” Langsdorf said."
