Nebraska opened up as a 10.5 point favorite. The line has dropped to -7 or 7.5 because Nebraskas starting QB is out. Ryker Fyfe will make his first start at Nebraska. Nebraska's coach is a big fan of Ryker. He recruited Ryker to play at Oregon State but Nebraska won the recruiting battle and fate would also lead coach Riley to Nebraska 2 years later. Nebraska will simplify the game plan for Ryker and rely on their running game today. Purdue ranks last in the Big 10 giving up 4.8 yards per carry. Purdue is missing 3 key players on defense which is a much bigger deal than Nebraska starting a new QB. Ryker isnt as mobile as Tommy Armstrong but he is a better passer. Crazy season for Nebraska losing 5 games by a total of 13 points. Nebraska needs this win and wont let this one slip away in the final seconds. NEBRASKA 38 Purdue 13

Love this game today. Nebraska should win big. I dont see purdue being able to stop Newby and Nebraska is desperate for wins if they want to be bowl eligible. With only 4 games left and two of those games are against MSU and Iowa, its critical for Nebraska to win today and they will. Go Huskers!Comment -

Nebraska is by far, the most disappointing team in the Big 10+4. With a game at home against Michigan State this weekend, Nebraska should be eliminated from any post season appearance for the season. It looks like a 4-8 season, or possibly 5-7. I said before the season started that Riley was a terrible hire and now Nebraska has proven it to me.
