Houston over Vandy

Houston has been lighting up the scoreboard this year. They're 4th in the nation in scoring. I know, they haven't really played anybody. But they beat Louisville on the road, and now they'll want to beat an SEC team to build their resume since they aren't in a Power 5 Conf.

This is the toughest defense Houston will face so far... But I'm betting this because of each team's offense. Vandy is 126th in red zone scoring and has scored a total of 53 points since Sept. 19... not good

I think the game is tight early, but the Cougs end up getting some big plays in the 2nd half and win 31-14 or so

The game is in Houston. One loss and Houston can kiss it's dream of a New Years 6 Bowl game good bye. Vandy has nothing to plqay for. Houston looks good here.

I enjoy betting teams like Boston College and Vanderbilt this year - defenses are a rare commodity in NCAAF. That said, this isn't the week to bet Vandy. I'd want 14 to bet them.
