Temple vs. East Carolina - Thursday, October 22, 2015

You have undefeated, Cinderella team in Temple traveling to a 4-3 ECU squad and catching points.Yet this is a good spot for ECU.
It is already tough enough to travel and play tough teams on the road with a short week of preparation but with as showdown with Notre Dame the following week looming and a possible shot at the final four and national championship on the line in that one it is easy to lose focus on the game at hand.
ECU will have a huge crowd for this nationally televised game and will be fired up to play this one. Despite playing some really tough defenses this season ECU is still averaging 32 points per game and they hung 73 points on BYU and Virginia Tech combined.
After a tough start to the season that included a 7-point loss to Florida and road loss to Navy, ECU has won two of it’s last three games and was tied with BYU with under a minute to play in the 4th quarter in that one. ECU beat Virginia Tech on the road and lost to both BYU and Florida by exactly one touchdown on the road.
I like this Temple team, but this is a spot where a undefeated team could very well falter on the road with short week of preparation against battle tested team that is better than their record indicates, with a huge game looming the week following. Sorry Owls.

Memphis vs. Tulsa - Friday, October 23, 2015
I am slightly hesitant here as I know how important WR Keenan Lewis was to the success of this offense.
Phil Montgomery, the former Baylor offensive coordinator has done a great job in his first season of changing the attitude and philosophy at Tulsa.
A profitable situation over the years, An undefeated team coming off their biggest win of the season as an underdog, then turning around and playing on a short week of preparation on the road as more than touchdown favorite. That is exactly the situation you find here as Memphis is coming off a huge home win over a ranked Ole Miss team as a more than 10 point underdog. Memphis not only won the game but manhandled Ole Miss scoring 31 unanswered points during one stretch of that game.
Now Memphis has to turn off the celebration valve and try and get focused for an opponent that they are expected to beat easily, all while focusing on the toughest stretch of their schedule where they will face Navy at home and back to back games on the road against ranked teams in Temple and Houston.
Tulsa will be fired up for this game. It is a nationally televised game on ESPN against an undefeated team. It is also a homecoming game for Tulsa so the crowd will be even more pro Tulsa and fired up than normal.
This is also a huge game for the postseason chances of Tulsa as they currently stand at 3-3 on the season. No need to break down stats for this one as history tells us that the situational awareness for this play is rock solid.Tulsa will score more than enough points to cover this number and if Memphis is not careful their undefeated season could end at the hands of the Golden Hurricane in front of a fired up homecoming crowd.

Washington State vs. Arizona - Saturday, October 24, 2015
This one simply comes down to attrition. Washington State has been one of the healthiest teams in the nation the past few weeks and the results have been extremely positive. The Cougars have scored 97 points i9n their last two games both of which were wins vs Oregon and Oregon State.
Washington State QB Luke Falk is completing an amazing 72.3% of his passes this season with 21 TD’s and only four interceptions.
Arizona on the other hand has had to deal with injuries to their top players on both sides of the ball all season long. Heading into this week’s game the Wildcats have more than a dozen players on the injury report. Included on that list is star RB Nick Wilson who has almost 700 yards rushing and eight rushing TD’s on the season. Wilson missed the last game with a foot injury and is questionable this weekend.
Arizona has struggled on the defensive end all season giving up over 30 points per game this season. Look for Washington State to score plenty of points in this shootout and this one should be close throughout.

Hawaii vs. Nevada - Saturday, October 24, 2015
I hate to lay points, but this spot may end up with value by game time if the rumored information comes to fruition. Hawaii has a dozen players questionable for this game for both injury and potential suspension.
issues. I have read that many of the players potentially facing suspension will not play in this one. This is already a difficult trip and becomes an extremely daunting task if missing majority of starters.
Hawaii has lost four straight games and has only defeated one FBS team all season. They have been shut out twice this season already and this offense has gone through some difficult times and they lost to perennial bottom feeder New Mexico last week.
Nevada has alternated wins and losses in their last four. They defeated the same New Mexico squad mentioned above 35-17 and also won 24-21 at Buffalo. They lost to instate rival UNLV 23-17 and lost last week at a Wyoming team finally getting some players back.
This is a huge game for Nevada if they hope to make a bowl game this season. They are currently 3-4 right now and a loss almost assures they will not be bowl eligible. With their backs against the wall look for Nevada to come with a big performance at home against a Hawaii team that has struggled to move the ball on the road.

First post giving picks? Sounds similar to the other 4,952 touts before you attempting to create a track record. Enjoy your week's stay before you lose and abandon the thread.

I still cant believe people buy points...

Nice write up Faccia, there are people who get on here and don't give any reasoning/thoughts behind their picks. I'd rather you be a new poster who is seemingly knowledgeable about the teams involved, rather than somebody whose posted 10,000 times and just says "uh, this one is a lock!!!"

      Slanina, shut up dude.
