I had dinner a few nights ago with some friends of mine in the media industry...Didn't notice it at the time, but there were other personalities there as well, in particular Colin Cowherd. I excused myself to the men's room at the end of dinner (the Italian food was really greasy) and parked myself in a stall. About 5 minutes later I hear the door slam open and two men started rambling. Of course i could recognize one of the voices as a Mr. Colin Cowherd. Throughout the (drunk) rambling, I come to find out that the head coach of the Florida Gators Jim Mcelwain was actually Cowherd's roommate in college at Eastern Washington. As the ramblings continued he started telling his urinal buddy about how much money he was fixing to make off the LSU/FLA game on Saturday. Come to find out Mcelwain has the refs in his pocket for this one, and not only is FLA supposed to go down to death valley and win, but he was saying FLA could win by as much as 17-20 pts. I thought to myself "are you shittin me"..(no pun intended)...Fast forward 45 minutes later after i exit the restroom, the first thing on my mind was to call a bookie i know down in South Louisiana. After leaving him a voicemail, he gets back to me today and tells me about the big money coming in not only on the spread, but also on the FLA ML. If your on LSU I would seriously consider hedging.
