This is the first time these two have met since 2010 when Auburn won the national championship. Auburn has obviously struggled this season and they haven't even named a starting quarterback (as of Tuesday). They are 0-5 ATS this season. Kentucky is only 2-3 ATS.
Both teams are coming off bad wins last week. Auburn beating San Jose St. 35-21, but it was a 7 point game mid-way through the 4th quarter. They were out gained and out first-downed by SJSU. Kentucky looked even worse, needing a 4th quarter comeback and OT to beat Eastern Kentucky.
Auburn has played just one road game this season and they looked bad against LSU. I can't remember the last time either of these teams played on a Thursday night. Does Kentucky think they have a shot at winning the east with Grier out for Florida? I can't find a good enough angle to play this game, but I would have to take the home dog on a Thursday night out of principle. +3 would be much better though.
