Home game for LSU in Syracuse

I live near Syracuse. Watching the local news last night = LSU had to get another 5000 tix over their initial 5000, and Syracuse has been running ads on the radio all week trying to sell tix to this game with very little luck. No one in the community or at the school want to watch the pre-season 5th string QB be tiger kibble.

Been YEARS now but last time I was up there visiting a GF from college we hit a hoop game, the turn-out and support was incredible!

Don't know if it's still like that but I had never seen such organized mayhem at a hoop game. Down in SEC country you see that stuff for football, not hoops.

Great teams back then too, this was back when Seikaly (sp?) was on the team. I'm dating myself with that statement but the visit kind of hooked me on college hoops.....

Kind of surprised they don't support the football team like that. Are yall still supportive of the hoop program?

Great area, if not for the cold I'd have probably moved up there long ago.

About 10 years ago, SU had a retarded president. She hired an incompetent AD. They destroyed the football program to the point where I doubt it will ever come back. They would have destroyed hoops except for Boeheim. Sad story.

Back to todays game - That (relatively) small dome amplifies any noise, so it will definitely sound like an LSU home game if nothing else. If the O/U on 'QB's used by SU' today is less than 2.5, then I'm on the over.
