What?????? Dawgs score 58 today themselves
I kid. I kid.
What a damn mess in Athens. I'm hearing Richt trots out Ramsey today at QB. That would be the 3rd different starter in as many games. Ramsey was the punter in last weeks Florida game. The Schotty hire is turning out to be another bad coordinator hire for Richt. And Pruitt has apparently pissed off the entire staff with exception of the two coaches he convinced Richt to bring on staff. It was rumored earlier this week that Pruitt would be fired before "cooler heads prevailed." Richt better go 4-0 to finish the season or he's probably out at seasons end.
BOL luck today!

Bwahaha! Well, at least the market appears to agree with me? The real question is, as a UGA fan, who do you want to replace Richt?

I would love to get David Shaw. Mike Gundy might be my number 2 guy. I think Herman or Fuentes are 2 young guns. I've heard Mullen is the ADs #1 choice. Please not Dan Mullen. Shaw ain't leaving Stanford. Gundy might come. I think Herman & retain Pruitt as his DC would be a dynamic duo.

David Shaw would be fantastic, I agree. Unfortunately, probably also agree that he is unlikely to leave Stanford, though UGA is a huge job. It's sort of like Coack K at Duke earlier in his career - sure, there are jobs with bigger names historically, but is there a better opportunity to elevate a job? Gundy is kind of a character, but no arguing that he can coach. Personally, I'm not crazy about Herman, but that's because i heard stories about him from OSU that i'd rather not post but that make me question his character. I like Fuente a lot. And what, you what to retain Pruitt but not Schottenheimer...?

I was not a big fan of the Schottenheimer hire and I'm even less of a fan today. He didn't like the qbs UGA had on scholarship so he went out and signed his guy (Lambert). Lambert has not progressed under Schottenheimer. The play calling has been flat out awful. There's no imagination in his play calling. I understand your Heisman candidate (in Chubb) goes down is a huge loss however he didn't adjust to the college game and only after 3 losses did he comprehend toss and jet sweeps work in college. Wildcat and read option works in college. Additionally, I don't think he's a very good recruiter. Whereas, Pruitt is a freakin' stud recruiter. Pruitt works his butt off recruiting. Yes, he's a bit of a spoiled redneck but man, Pruitt can recruit and pretty good DC.
Personally, I'd like to see a change; however if Richt retains his job, I really would like to see Schottenheimer gone and Richt hire an up-and-comer to be the qb coach. Richt take back the play calling and groom the qb coach to be the OC. Keep Pruitt and hire a special teams coach.

Lean Bills/Jets 1H under 21, but not sure that I like it enough to watch a full half of a Thursday night NFL game.

Schotty comment intended ironically, of course. Nepotism is great, but he's been getting routinely overmatched for almost as long as the Browns in the AFC North. Real question: will UGA be bad enough to fire Richt? They're stuck in that sort of limbo in CFB, when getting to a new years day bowl isn't really good enough but can you really guarantee better with the next guy?

I like that Memphis Houston over, but after that bowling green game of over 72 not hit i am a little gun shy on large totals, cant believe no one scored in the 4th quarter of that game

Iowa or northwestern scares me in your tease... Purdue shows up to play every once in awhile, and I just don't trust Iowa at all now that they're getting all this attention. BOL, always pay attention to your plays although I go through a local so I can't follow many of them!

I hear you, but that being said, (1) overs on totals that close above 70 have done really well this year (don't have exact numbers at moment, but they started something like 17-5), and (2) i'd view BG game as a serious outlier. BOL if you play it!

Thanks, STF. Let's hope that Miami chips in a few points for the cause.
I'm not categorically against CFB unders, but i don't play a ton of full-game unders (more TTs/1Hs). That said, as a capper, if you're not fundamentally under-oriented, you're a fool (i.e., always bet on something not happening vs it happening). BOL to you, my friend!

Life is about connecting with people. Everything beyond that is unnecessary over-complication/over-explanation. Also, college football overs.
