Been hearing since one of their late games last year how they are gonna be good this year, even gave them a good preseason ranking it ain't happening. Mark my words, Tennessee will lose 6 or 7 games this year.

The Vols are just the popular pick right now because of our last two recruiting classes and the way we won our bowl game. I would prefer the expectations be tempered a bit as I think we are still a year away. However, we have 5 relatively easy wins on the schedule and we have essentially 8 home games this year (one game is in Nashville - it will be 95% orange). I will give you Alabama as a loss this year and I am tempted to strike Georgia as a loss, but we nearly beat them the last two years and they easily had the better teams. I like our chances to win at least 2 of the games against Oklahoma, Florida, Arkansas, South Carolina and Missouri. By my math, we win a minimum of 7 games, but I think we win 8 unless something special happens.
I can tell you think we are overhyped, which is fine, but I don't see where the 6-7 losses come from. You should take the under in our win total if you really believe that. I would not recommend it.

Now if you don't know recruiting, the max you're supposed to have per year is 25 with an overall team cap of 85. The SEC is just magic and the NCAA does't care. In a land where you don't cut players or ship them to JUCO's in hopes they pan out, they're already over the 85 cap in 3 classes.Comment -
