Great hire. Nebraska could have hired him weeks ago but their new head coach opted to bring in a bunch of his buddies from Oregon State. Idiot.

This is a very good hire. The SEC could not stop anyone last season. The lack of defense led to the demise of the once mighty SEC West. No SEC West top 5 team gave up less than 31 points in their respective bowl game. The result? 0-5 and the end of the over-hyped SEC Superiority. If Miles can get his act together offensively, LSU will be a legitimate contender in the SEC West. We will find out real soon what LSU has to offer, when they travel to Miss. State on 9/12 and then host Auburn the following week. The non-con schedule is SEC weak.
