He's a sophomore, so will be a junior next year. We saw Braxton get Wally Pipped by Barrett. Barrett hurt now. Will they compete for the job in the spring or is it Barrett's as of now? Jones is no doubt a stud, if Barrett retains the job, Jones will sit on the bench wasting years and a possible high draft entry or should he transfer. Seems you can have too much talent at one position.

well they planned on sticking with Barrett, but I would make the argument
this is Jones's team now. If they don't plan to start Jones next year then
he should immediately transfer out. And no baloney about competing
for the job. That is b.s.
If I were Jones no matter what happens in final game I would line up a
transfer then go directly to Meyer and say - I start next year or leave.
