Wisconsin Athletic Director Barry Alvarez will coach the Badgers in the Outback Bowl against Auburn on Jan. 1.

This could indicate that Darrell Bevell, offensive coordinator of the Seattle Seahawks, is the man Wisconsin wants as their new coach. They'd have to wait until the NFL playoffs are finished for it to happen. Just speculating.

They weren't going to be able to hire a guy and have him acclimated to coach the bowl game. The seniors asked Alvarez to coach the bowl game.
