Pacific Star: Temple +44 at Clemson

    Temple +44 at Clemson

    Game Time: 10/12/2006 7:30:00 PM
    By: Pacific Star

Coming off consecutive covers, Temple should make it three straight covers tonight when they take on #12 Clemson.

Clemson comes into this contest ranked #12 in the nation and coming off a 27-17 win over previous unbeaten Wake Forest. Clearly, the Tigers can basically name the score against a totally unmanned Temple squad. But will they?

    Our guess is no.

Clemson will be playing on a short week and they have two tough ACC games on deck vs ranked opponents, Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech. This means that they will probably start resting some key players once they get up by 20-25 points or so.

Granted, Temple is one of the worst Division I programs in the country, but they are coming off back-to-back covers, their last just an 11-point loss to a very good Kent State team. The Owls' offense has actually shown signs of life the last two weeks with RB Tim Brown rushing for nearly 230 yards. We like Temple to stay inside the huge number this evening. Take Temple plus the points.

    Play: Temple +44

I don't follow College football much, but would it be a good bet tonight to take Temple getting 44.5 points?

i am taking temple +44.5 (a small wager)
ya they are bad but even the worst teams get lucky and cover.
The short week is important to consider for clemson also I agree that they will rest some key players once up but 20-30pts.
