I haven't watched them play. But I noticed they beat Akron and Central Michigan. They beat Central Michigan on the road and Central Michigan beat NIU at home. I know this type of reasoning doesn't always work, but I am taking Ball State at home as a dog here.

The only reason Ball State beat Central Michigan and Akron was because of turnovers. They were out gained by more than 100 yards in the Central Michigan game, had a +4 TO margin, and still only beat them by a field goal.

NIU doesn't turn the ball over and should be able to run it at will all night long.

My system says 29.5-29.5 so its supposed to be a very close game. I like the 3.5 and ball st as well however, i did a 4 team 13 pt teaser with ball st +16.5 under 75 and buffalo +17 and over 41. Shitty odds but better numbers. Im sure I'll still lose somehow.
