Michigan is just terrible. Play them at your own risk. They lost to Rutgers, Minny and Utah. Their only two wins are against App State and Miami Ohio. They will not qualify for a bowl bid. Their HC ad AD are just terrible.Comment -
Minny and Utah not bad squads big daddy. But I would probably stay away from this unless it's Penn st. who actually have a pretty good QB. Mich offense especially a mess and until they give up on these "athletes" and get a true QB under center and run a more pro style offense I don't see much improving. Hoke is a dead man and the A.D. likely as well one if not both will get axed by years end if not sooner.Comment -
because the markets dictates so....books don't give a f%$#, about accurately projecting the score, they set a line that will most likely give them 50/50 money....my guess is Michigan is a heavily bet team more so than penn state, lines like these are "tells" to who the markets value and who they don't....
sorry bud I think PSU wins this one pretty easily, PSU off a bye and well rested while Michigan is pretty beat up.....last year mich ran for 2.76 ypc...and PSU run defense stronger this year....gonna force devon gardner to throw....which should be entertaining for all psu backers....Comment -
Seems to me that if you think Penn St should be a 4-5 point favourite then you're getting heaps of value on them at +1.5. By letting the books dictate who you're backing you're missing opportunities. Just my 10 cents worth.
I'm actually using your assessment on who should be favourites and taking the value. Penn St M/L for me.

Smut I understand about books bal. out to 50/50...and Mich may be heavily bet, but why ? They are not playing well and many know this...and Penn.
