Sandman week 7 ncaa

gonna try to cut it down for real this week to 6-8 saturday plays. Nothing below 3 unit plays...except for weeknight games. My little 2 unit tv adds on saturday have been kicking my butt. Gl all this week...let's get it.

Temple -16 *****
Without a doubt the easiest play on the board this week on paper. I don't think people realize just how bad this Tulsa team is this year...almost smu bad. Games aren't played on paper...I know. I have watched Tulsa 3 times now tho...temple twice I think. If both teams show up to play...48-20 temple is my best guess.

UAB -3.5 ****
north tex can't throw the ball. They are in trouble against a team that can score points...just like last week. They will hang for a while...but I think uab is just too much in the end. 35-17 uab.

Texas tech +3.5 ***
Tech hasn't played at home in over a month. I think they get all juiced up and make a stand in this game. W virginia has not handled tech very well at all since moving to the big 12...only the 2nd road test this year...and I think they run into a buzz saw here. 42-34 tech imo.

Oklahoma -14.5 ***
man I hate taking ou again after they laid an egg last week. They do it every year tho...and the week after they do it each year under stoops, they come focused and they always win easily. Texas May not score in this game imo. There is not much of a deep threat at all with Swoopes at qb...and ou is way too good up front to be beat by a one dimensional o. This one gets ugly...45-6 sooners.

Kansas +20 ***
this state team is not worthy of being 20 point favs in any conference game at this point...and certainly not on the road. Take out the craziness right before and after halftime last weekend and that game might have been real interesting. I know it is kansas...but still too many points on the road. 34-24 state.

Gonna leave it at that for spreads this week most likely...other than weeknight games. These games that I have liked right off the bat have done pretty well this year...but the adds have not. I may like a couple of totals when I look later this week...but that is it. Gl all this week.

Ok Thursday...

Byu +3.5 -115 **
read a ton on this game this morning. I think it comes down to running the football and run d's. Ucf needs to run the ball to have a shot...just based on watching them play, and on their game stats vs results. I disregard the Bethune game...they have run for less than 100 per game and passed for less than 200 per game. They will be facing a very good d thurs...and from what I have read, a d that is taking the rest of the season on their backs. The byu backup admits he was trying to do way too much last week, and the coaches agreed. I look for byu to play very conservative...with not much pressure on the new qb. Most likely going to be a boring game, with both teams taking the same approach. The only advantage ucf has in this game is qb imo...and that shouldn't factor too much into things. Only thing that concerns me is maybe a hangover for byu after getting their undefeated dreams crushed. That is why only a 2 unit play, and why no ml bet. Even a ucf win could very likely be by a fg. Just my logic...which is often flawed...lol.

even Stanford can score on this d of wash st...and the cougars are getting over 500 per game through the air. The spread had me stumped...so the total it is.

San Diego st -5.5 **
aztecs have a strong running game against a weak New Mexico run d. Sdsu has a pretty good run d against a running team in New Mexico, who passes for under 100 per game. Backup qb and all...I think a fairly easy win for sdsu.

Fresno st -10 **
just an awful unlv d. Fresno should abuse these guys.

The wsu over troubles me I agree that Stanford shouldn't have a problem scoring my question is will wsu have a problem scoring I watched wsu play Nevada . They applied a little pressure on c.h. And he fell apart only scored 13 points to a Nevada d that gave up over 50 to bsu last week.I don't really like favorites especially on Thursday and I'm not sure if Stanford is gonna be motivated after that heart breaker last week but if I play that game it'll be Stanford -16 if it gets there.i think they pound the rock on the soft wsu d and keep the offense on the side line

Yeah...i watched the nevada game too. Wsu looked pretty bad there, and that gave me pause. They seem to have the o rolling now...and that d is so bad that I could easily see Stanford scoring upwards of 35. If you look at the stats, wash st should not be a 17 point dog. Something is just off about it. I think Stanford would have to be the play ats...and that may not be good news for the over. I guess it does no good to second guess myself now...already bet. Gl with whatever you take.
