Notre Dame held Stanford to 47 yards rushing

Notre Dame's a very good team...better than they were 2 years ago. I don't think they're a top-4 team, but they can play with anyone with that defense and their offense is solid. They need to eliminate the silly mistakes, though. They should have won that game by 20. They clearly outplayed Stanford but mistakes nearly cost them.

What's scary about Notre Dame is they are very young. There's a very good chance they will go into next season ranked in the top 5. Lots of young talent on that team.

I'm not sure they should of won by 20 but more than 3 for sure. Why not top 4? Ducks were, Okla was. Season is still young and we'll see where they're at when they play FSU in two weeks barring any let down against UNC next week.

Offensive line is not good enough yet and their receivers are mostly first or second year players. I think they're too young yet. Not sure they're good enough to win at Tallahassee. Next year, though, could be their year.

Don't get me wrong, when I say we'll see how they do I'm saying can they keep it close.

They may have their best receiver back next week. Maybe their #1 CB and a DE also. Just wish they could get Martin back from the Cowboys. OL

If they get Daniels back, Notre Dame really becomes a serious contender. I think that's one area Notre Dame lacks right now...their receivers are okay, but not great. Robinson is their best guy....Fuller makes plays, but he runs terrible routs and doesn't have much size. Same with the other guys. Koyak is a good TE, but not like the ones they've had in the past. They're a very young team yet.
