Teasers are terrible terrible bets! College football most spreads 7pts (and under) the points do not determine if you win or lose. Most underdogs simply win outright or the favorite wins by more than 7pts. The fact that you have to win both sides puts you at a disadvantage. I am a bookie..and I love guys who bet teasers. I have a number of players that do it..LOVE IT! Money in my pocket. Do a Parlay instead..same premise but at least you get better odds if you hit!
The NFL is even worse! 90% of the games the point spread does not matter! Only one point spread last week came in to play last weekend..Kansas City +13..Thats it..You pick the winner, thats it!! A point spread is vegas' biggest scam w/ the NFL
Here is a bit of advice: Any time you like an underdog with spread 7pts or less....money line em! Started with that strategy two years ago and never looked back. Best thing I ever did!
Especially with NFL games. 90% of NFL games the spread does not determine a Win or a Loss. Last week only one spread mattered (KC +13). Ur better off taking the money line!
Here is an example..Last Sunday I had San Diego Chargers +180 & St. Louis +180 & KC +13. Good luck brother..

If you would have just bet the regular lines you would be 11-3. So by betting the teaser and having to take both the spread and the side you are down 2 units from what you could have been. I would be saying damn teaser!!Comment -

I agree 100% and hope you don't feel I was busting your balls, I just agree with angel. Teasers are not a good way to manage money in the long run. Most times they either cover with enough points or the lose by more than the 7 points you are getting. So its best to bet the line or don't bet at all. But this IMO, you do what you do best.Comment -
