    Willie Teal from Dr. Sharp
Look for Coach Malzahn to make sure his backup succeeds early and team also features a new JUCO wideout who's dominated in scrimmages and who has been called the best HS wr to ever come out of La. (that's saying something).

Arkansas should be able to move the ball and score a few times as well.

    More from Dr. Sharp:

"I think yesterday's over was pretty much how we saw it. Auburn went to the air a lot with polished backup and Daquille Williams was incredible in his initial debut giving the Tigers a formidable duo with Coates. Arkansas was also improved and had the number at 42 at half for an easy cover on the total to start us at 1-0."

"Much has been made of UT's losses throughout, however US also has big numbers to replace. Youth will be served on both squads but UT is serving up highly ranked recruiting classes and US is serving up something 101st. Combine that with Worley's return and connections with an young but elite wr corps and we should see enough explosion to put Volunteers up by more than a touchdown. Butch Jones also has a great staff and they'll be looking to score to ignite young team with a few sure losses coming up in conference play." Easy WIN 38-7

I am not sure if this is the person but I am thinking it is based on his knowledge in his comments. I remember him from playing with the Minnesota Vikings and LSU. From what I have read the guy is, and always has been, a class act.

Let me clear this up. I've followed SEC football for years, so I used Willie Teal as my handle. He was a great cornerback, and I'm sure has way more knowledge than I do.

            Sincerely,

            Dr Sharp

P.s. let's keep it rolling this weekend.

                Picks for Sept. 6th

Sorry I didn't give out a few of the earlier plays. Going with

                Tulane (+10)

                Michigan State (+13)

                Memphis (+23)

I think the problems on the offensive line for UCLA are real. Memphis has a very active defensive line and and an outstanding coordinator. Offensively, the Tigers are progressing in their offense and though they'll be overmatched physically, they should be able to move the ball and avoid turnovers.

                        Week 2 Grades

                        Tulane (+10) L 21-38
Punt block returned for TD, poor coaching decisions, but still the Green Wave looked way overmatched.

                        Michigan State (+13) L 27-46
Part of the variance against Oregon is where your team plays them straight up but gives up several big plays resulting in a L ATS.

                        Memphis (+23) W 35-42
UCLA's offensive line looked better and they were probably lucky that UM's Ifedi was out. A defensive game against UVA, an offensive game here--can the Bruins put it all together in Dallas. Will be interesting to see this competent Memphis team take on Ole Miss in Week when Rebs may be looking ahead to Bama.

                        1-2,

                        4-2 for the season

Dr. Sharps picks for Week 3

                          Week 3 picks

East Carolina (+10). It's not just the possibility of a letdown, but these teams have are familiar with each other (15-10 VT last year in Greenville) and ECU has something that Ohio State didn't--a polished QB-WR that should have .

Georgia (-7). It's easy to see this as as a typical conference slobber knock that should go down to the wire and take the points. But I just get a different feeling about both of these teams. Georgia's underperformed on defense for years, and it looks like Jeremy Pruitt is about to solve that problem. The best player in college and a great D is a dangerous combination. SC will be shattered if they get down a score or two at home and with Todd Gurley that can happen quickly.

U Mass (+17). One team has a QB and a Mark Whipple offense that can move the ball and score. The other doesn't. And the first team is getting 17 points? Okay.

I can't believe UMass is getting so many points. That's my PotD for sure...

                              More picks from Dr. Sharp

                              Other plays for today.

                              UCLA (-7)
It's true that Texas got drilled by BYU last year also, but then came back to notch some nice wins under a coach on his way out. But that was without the offensive line and QB problems they have today. UCLA improved there last week against Memphis and it feels like it's time for a complete performance. The Bruin passing game may also find some advantages indoors.

                              Connecticut (+17)
Another team making a long trip East for an early start.

                              Purdue (+28 1/2)
This game's been within a touchdown for the last two seasons and Purdue has to make up for talent difference with a methodical approach that can eat up the clock.

Dr Sharp, 7-4-1 on the SEASON. Let's continue the momentum in Week 4!

So far this season the picks have gone 7-4-1 this season for a sizzling

                                    Indiana (+13 1/2)
Mizzou's been rolling through their pre-season and will host the Hoosiers, while Indiana's quietly built momentum with a ground game that will take the Tigers out of their game. Meanwhile, the Tigers have to be looking ahead to open road conference sked on the road in Columbia.

                                    San Diego State (+10 1/2)
Beavers overcame a 9-point deficit to win in San Diego in 2013, 34-30. The Aztecs almost pulled off the upset in Chapel Hill two weeks ago and now travel to Corvalis after an open date. The Beavers have also had a week off to prepare.

                                    West Virgina (+9)
We saw that Mountaineers have what it takes to stay with an elite team in Week 1. Now they get a same team in Morgantown, under the lights and it looks like Holgorsen has Clint Trickett clicking and they'll be able to stay with the Sooners in a shootout.

                                    Utah (+3 1/2)
We played Utah against Fresno State earlier in the year and they rolled. They're simply the better team with points.

                                    Ohio (-13 1/2)
Feel more confident about this game than any one on the board. Idaho is on the road for the third straight week and Idaho is a bad football team.

                                    Northern Illinois (+13 1/2).
This is a polished football team with strengths all across the board. Yes, they could succumb to a wave of momentum at Arkansas against a team rising in confidence. But starting off the game with 13 points against a very coached team is irresistible.
