I don't get why everyone thinks they have to schedule harder now. I mean, the top 5 major conferences have even more autonomy, so its not like their names alone won't carry any weight. I'll believe it when I see the selection committee choose someone other than the top 4/5 teams in the AP/Coaches poll. Do you really think they're going to take a 2-loss team over an undefeated team? Its just going to end up like the BCS with 2 more teams.
