Grab Gators vs Tigers

Taking the Gators and points at home in The Swamp is the right play this Saturday when Florida hosts LSU.
The underdog is 4-0 ATS in the last four head-to-head meetings between these conference rivals, and we will gladly take the points at home with the undefeated (5-0) Gators here.
Florida went into LSU last season and covered the six-point spot in a narrow 21-17 defeat, and we feel that the change in venue to The Swamp should translate to the mild upset here. The Gators have outscored their five opponents by an average score of 30.2-9.4, and they already show wins on their ledger over Tennessee and Alabama, a couple of clubs that are better than ANYONE that LSU has beaten to this point.
Yes, the Tigers are 4-1 and are outscoring their opponents by an average score of 38-7. However, you must consider the competition. The four LSU victories came over Mississippi State, Tulane, Arizona and UL Lafayette, hardly the most elite schools in the country. Moreover their lone loss came vs. the only real opponent they have faced in Auburn. While we do have all the respect in the world for the Tigers program, we will side with the more battle-tested Florida team as a home puppy in this spot.
Play: Florida +2½
