I can just see it now...JJ all painted in red with a big 'R' on his chest and a lot of coeds in front of and behind him. He's holding up a big sign that says, "We won the very first game of college football ever played!"

Next thing you know he's a walk-on kicker kicking game-winning field goals for the Scarlet Knights, and when the on-field reporter goes to interview him he gives shoutouts to "the crew at SBR".

They really dropped the defensive hammer on Navy totally shutting down the #1 rushing attack.

Be careful of these kind of teams later in the year. They tend to be very thin depth wise. An injury or two and you got a totally different team.

Well, that's exactly what happened to Navy, John. They lost their quarterback early in the first quarter. Anybody who knows anything about Navy knows they are absolutely NOTHING on offense without their QB.

Navy can be defended by a troop of girl scouts without their QB.

I saw that about the QB loss, I definately now think you have to throw that game out when you cape Rutgers next week. I think Pitt will bury them.

that is some funny stuff JJ...one semester...basically alumni...I'm watching tape of last week's game and they did an excellent job...yes, the Navy QB did get hurt, but Rutgers is on a roll right now...

It was a win win for me. I lost a dime on Pitt but a winner elsewhere as Rutgers is my team. I am an alumni there.

If they run the table I think it actually could happen, Troy Smith's candidacy will be hurt by a loss to Michigan, and MIchigan to me is the best team has too many guys for a Heisman winner.

It is weird it seems like guys who put up the big numbers in the small conferences are no longer popular candidates, Colton Brennan to me should get a lot of consideration, he will have 5,000 yards and 50 TD's all purpose this year.
