OU/Oregon= worst call ever

OU is a recruiting rival and all so in general whats bad for them is good for my team. But this onside kick call has got to be the worst calls I have ever seen. I think it takes the cake because you have the replay right in front of the ref...its not some split second call on the field. However I never realized that despite the illegal touching by the ducks that should have given the ball to OU...that the sooners actualy recovered the ball. And then ofcorase there was a pass interference call on OU on Oregons final drive that was reviewed. It was clearly a tiped ball and should have been overturned but once again the ref screwed that up. So my question is...were the pac 10 refs stupid...corupt...or both?

Instant replay and still making two wrong calls in favor of the same team, which, as a result, wins the match? You do the math. Has nothing to do with incompetence, if you ask me.

Thanks for the video clip. First I saw of it. That's the most screwed up thing I've ever seen. How did they give the ball to Oregon when the OU player had the ball in his hand?

Here's a 5 minute clip of the play including several replays. Notice how the officials blow the whistle right away and don't even look for the ball. Shouldn't they be wondering where the ball is??

That WAS a horrible call... I was yelling at the TV when it happened heh.

But you can't go crazy (the bad sportsmanship out of Oklahoma is disgusting), how many times did OU have a chance to make a play or make a stop?
They had the game all but won and couldn't stop them. It shouldn't have even got to that point.

I think OU is out of line here. Bad call? You bet. Did it cost them the game?
No - good teams > bad officials. Even with that bad call (as brutal as it was) they had a chance to win the ballgame - and blew it hard.

It sucks, as I like a square game - but still... That wasn't the only play in the game.
