To spot a fix, start trying to spot players throttling their speed on defense to let an offensive player to burn them, or players throwing themselves on the ground for no apparent reason on offense. Also pay attention to how they play the clock and poor tackle attempts. Selling a game isn't hard. I can't get a read on how it will play out yet for the 2H, but that opening drive for the run back wasn't very encouraging. Refs threw flags on the play so for now I don't know.

You probably thought the same in the Duke game too huh? That game had A&M looking like swiss cheese on runs and getting burned deep on every play. Then all of a sudden it stopped happening in the 2nd half. This happens so that people can switch sides and even out the money. Vegas will cash on as many bets as possible and payout the smaller portion. Alabama wins straight up so they don't pay that high mL many took on OU. -17 doesn't cash for Bama because thats's the majority of bets. Alabama ml juice is payable because not many people are crazy enough to put up that kind of juice. Some of these games are influenced, especially the high profile, big money games. Alabama is high profile and big money. They will win straight up, but not cover the spread. If you don't believe that A&M vs Duke game was scripted in how it played out in the 1H in contrast to the 2H...nothing I say will open your eyes.

So are you actually saying that before these big money high profile games some guys from Vegas get all the players and coaching staff of both teams together in a big room and say "fellas, this is the way we need the game to play out in the first half and this is the way we need the game to play out in the second half" and they all reply "sure, okay" ?

I'm winning and I call it like it is. Sometimes these games ARE fixed. It's evident in player effort and ref calls some games. I can't get a read on this game yet, but if I were to guess this is a good game to pay off since it's high profile. Imo Alabama will win because of how the mL has been constantly heavy on the Alabama side even though they are losing.
