Wisconsin vs South Carolina over 51(-110)
These teams have never faced off against one another. Wisconsin hasn't won a bowl game since 2009. South Carolina is looking for 3 straight bowl wins, they beat a big 10 team in the Outback bowl last year in Michigan. They'll be missing a speedster to their offense in WR Damiere Byrd but they have so much depth at that position it shouldn't matter much. He got injured in practice a month ago and will not play. Everybody knows DE Jadeveon Clowney's story and he's going to go pro. He'll be motivated to end his career on a great note. Coming back from injury, South Carolina senior starting QB Connor Shaw rarely turned the ball over towards the end of the season. His ability to extend plays is like no other and decision making has improved dramatically throughout his career. This ability can cause some problems for the Badger defense. His buddy in the backfield in soph Mike Davis is decent and 11 td's 1,134 rushing yards this year proves it. Wisconsin is ranked 8th on the ground(rushing yards) in all of college football and has a rb duo in senior James White and soph Melvin Gordon, arguably one of the best rb tandem's in all of college football. White is NFL bound and Gordon is going to return for his junior year. It's important to note Wisconsin has only fumbled 17 times this season and recovered 14 times, pretty impressive. Senior WR Jared Abbrederis is as reliable as they come, throw anything in his vicinity and he'll catch it. While both teams boast their share of defensive players with extreme talent who are heading to the NFL, I believe both these teams have enough offense to push this total over. South Carolina has a decent rush defense but it can be questionable at times and I expect Wisconsin's offensive line to hold their own against Carolina's defensive front. Badgers first year as a full starter soph QB Joel Stave needs to just manage the game well and 20 something points from a Wisconsin team with great rushing talent is not asking a lot. After all Badgers, you're in Orlando and it's 69 degrees, light showers but make the most of it! 28-24 type of game will get it done!
