Clearly inferior huh? Then you don't know football. Having Thomas helps not only the offense, but keeps the defense from continually having to take the field by sustaining drives. Leal has zero pocket presence, lacks elusiveness, and clearly doesn't have the coaches' confidence to open the playbook. Not to mention threw a horrendous pick six. The game was 7-7 when Thomas left the game, and he was playing with a lot of moxie. I was speaking primarily to these UCLA backers who act "frustrated" when Thomas got hurt. Gimme a break. Thomas' injury is the only reason why UCLA is gonna cover.

If you can't see that, then you have your head up your ass.
