The bettors will argue this. the line has dropped from Buffalo -3 1/2 to basically a push. There must be a reason why.

I understand... but the bettors seem like donkey public that watched SDST put up big points vs scrubs in a west coast setting.. Buffalo played awesome this year and IMO were strong enough to be ranked

Buffalo plays in the MAC, not your strongest conference around. They also lost 4 games away from home. San Diego State plays in the MWC, normally a much stronger conference, but a conference that did not fair real well this past season. They won 4 out of 6 away games. They are also playing in a MWC stadium. I was looking to get Buffalo at +3 1/2 or more. I will not touch it now.

Buffalo has only faced 3 good offenses this year and allowed a ton of points in those games. My Side here is SD State. GL though

San Diego State was smacked around by UNLV.

They needed OT to beat 1-11 Hawaii.

But they did beat Boise State late in the season.

San Diego State has the slightly better DFEI-- and Buffalo the slightly better OFEI.

Bottom line.

It's a coin flip.

San Diego State was 8 out of 15 in the FG department, which is terrible. There were 72% in the Red zone, while their opposition was 95%. Another terrible stat.

I took Buffalo. San Diego State can't stop anyone. I expect Buffalo to make a few stops, score, and hit a few more field goals. I may be wrong. Though I think the public is wrong.

Weather may be a factor favoring Buffalo, but travel will favor SDSU. Numbers are about even. SOS does favor SDSU, but getting Buffalo at +pts is great. Might get lucky and see if get +3. Would jump on it then.
