It is a tough decision. Had you acted earlier, you could have taken 10 instead of 9 points. Both teams lose their starting QB's. Nebraska has lost 4 games every season that Pelini has been the HC. They have already lost their 4 games for this season. Tempting.Comment -
Combined teams score 70pts per game / allow 56pts per game. UGA has allowed 30+pts 8 times & NEB has allowed 30+pts 5 times. Combined to score 76pts in Capital One bowl last year. Yes, both teams lost their starting qb but they'll have an entire month of reps & preparation. Plus Armstrong & Mason will be assumed starters next year so the bowl preparation & game mean something. And both will look at this as something more than a bowl. It's confidence builder for next year and it'll be important for both coaches to start getting these guys ready for the next season. These extra practices are very important for next season's success. Bottom line these two teams don't play very good defense. I'm not seeing 70+pts again but this game could easily be played in the 60's. Strong case for the over in this one.Comment
