USC is the class of this game. Tougher schedule. Fresno is a glorified high school team and will lose by 17.

It's tough to make a case for USC other than they are more talented.

The issue is between the ears with USC.

Will they play hard? Will they mail it in?

How can you handicap that shit?

They didn't show up for the Sun Bowl against GT last year and got rolled.

This game is a bit more interesting than your average minor bowl game. These two teams open up against each other next season in Los Angeles. Someone may want to prove a point.

Fresno will be motivated. USC players demoralized playing for their 3rd coach this year. Kids don't wanna practiced without coach O out there. This is like the Super Bowl for Fresno st. They get to play the biggest and most storied college football program in all of California. Vegas is not too far a trip from Fresno so should be plenty of bulldog support. I'm on Fresno + 5.5. I feel they will be much more motivated to win this game and will also put some on the moneyline.

Battle of the 2 Bakersfield, CA QB's Kessler and Carr hometown friends. Bowl of the day compared to other games. Fresno ST will NOT lay down this game.
