    FBS Costal Carolina @Montana
    ****sorry everyone FCS not FBS

    Hi everyone,
I thought I would make a post about this game because I see it being offered at the book I play at and being that I live in Missoula figured I would give a little insight. I don't have a lot of posts and mainly just read through the forums but I saw the over under set at 72.5. This seems very high to me especially given the fact that it is currently -11 outside and is expected to be around -25 to -30 with the wind chill during the game. Costal Carolina throughout the week has been complaining about how cold it will be and some of the parents have even tried to reason with the NCAA to move it to a warmer neutral site.

I like Montana -6.5 but I love the under 72.5, I can't really see more than 50 points let alone 73. Again proceed as you want, just thought I would try to contribute something after a few years of lurking and reading some great posts on here. Thanks everyone that post plays and write ups for the rest of us to enjoy.

actually was reading someone else discussing this as well.. thanx for the heads up.. i guess my question would be do we have to worry about them fumbling a frozen rock over to montana for a bunch of short fields?

Yeah I think that's a valid concern, however I see a lot of missed field goals, dropped passes, etc. I think both the under and Montana -6.5 are strong plays but that's just my opinion.

I don't follow FCS, but a quick glance at the teams' stats says Coastal Carolina is very capable of running the ball (262ypg @ 5.9ypc). Montana appears to be only average in run defense. The cold should keep the ball on the ground, and I do think the Under looks great, but laying -10 doesn't seem all that wise.

28 points in the first quarter and it's not even over yet. This was the first and will be the last FCS game I EVER waste a penny on.
