Fresno state looks solid, but both ECAR and Bowling Greeen are on the road. Marshall is very good at home. Take Fresno State.

I think Duke being +5.5 at North Carolina seems a little off. I know Duke almost lost to Wake last week. And it's on the road, too. But Duke isn't getting much respect despite having an incredible year - I think they win this outright, and the points are an added bonus.

I'm sure some will say it's square, but I'm laying the lumber on Bama and OSU.
Bama opened - 10 1/2 @ Auburn. I had this game at 13. Wouldn't be surprised if 13 1/2 by kick.
OSU opened - 12 1/2 @ Michigan. I had this at 14 and think it will be there also, by kick.
Locked the two above bets in right away, at what I see favorable #'s. Yep, laying the wood here with two teams I trust. Two teams that score, don't turn over the ball and play lights out defense. Added also to some 2 and 3 team open parlays, with the ability to add a future position, fill.
Baylor and Oregon debacles will mean both teams will be razor focused. Baylor gave Buckeyes life and they now have a strong shot @ BCS Championship. OSU owns Wolves, 8-1 SU/ATS, last 9. Michigan has no shot at B10 title game and will play in mid level bowl. Yeah, they will be fired up to derail OSU season, Buckeyes will be ready. Michigan plays sloppy ball, to many turnovers.
No disrept to Tigers coming off 6 straight wins, 9-2 ats. Great rush attack, # 3 in land. Bama brings the #1 scoring defense to this game with # 3 rush D and # 5 pass D. Believe Saban will talk about Baylor mis-step on road and Oregon disaster also on the road, all week. Bama will be one of my top plays. In McCarron I trust along with that fierce Tide D.
Had Marshall @ -2. Pirates have been a great play, need to look at that some more. Herd tough @ home. Leaning Pirates.

Every square who bets CFB will be thinking the same thing though. The line is what it is for a reason. Take a look at how North Carolina has improved week in and week out. They are much better than you think they are at first glance. They have won 5 straight and may not get into a bowl game unless they beat duke. My money is on N. Carolina here.

@Shogun: I can see why. UNC really has gotten better down the stretch, they've won 5 straight I think. Both have a lot to play for. I'm still likely to take Duke + the points, but given Duke's performance last week I'll question it.

Yes, I completely understand your point of view. In fact, I wouldn't call a 7 point road win @ Wake Forest a bad win. They are one of those inconsistent teams that is impossible to get a clear read on. They destroyed Maryland at home (who proved to not be so good but still) and almost won @ Miami (lost 24-21). Another unpredictable team that either shows up and is a good team or completely sh its the bed.
The thing that points me to NC here is the line. It's at 5.5. If this were 2.5 or even 3.5 we could have a discussion and I would probably pass on the game. But I've been doing this awhile and everything tells me that NC is the play here. Again, good luck to you and your decision, but I believe NC is the play.
