He led with his helmet, that is the rule. May be a dumb rule, but he lowered his helmet which will get you ejected.Comment -
They originally called helmet to helmet, then they called targeting and tossed him. The whole thing about that play is the guy went down with his helmet pointed in the direction of the defender, there's no way to tackle that guy without the defender using his helmet or he'd get a helmet in the groin. Plus when you look at the replay, there's no way to tackle him, there's barely any body available to grab when that low. It was just a bad situation but there was no intent from the defender, not a reason to get ejected IMO.Comment -
