I'm asking for opinions.
If a spread is holding pretty steady, in a match up between two ranked FBS opponents, I feel like I've noticed that the best time to bet a ML in favor of the underdog seems to be Friday or Saturday if the game is a Saturday game.
For example I bet on Stanford to beat Oregon (even though it was a thursday game). Looking back on ML odds, the best time to bet was pretty close to kickoff if I was betting for Stanford. Same thing for LSU/'Bama but the spread was growing.
Am I just imagining this, I know I'm looking at a small sample size, but what is your opinion regarding the best time to bet ML for an underdog? Serious question. First post. Hope it's acceptable.
