Miserable Week 12. Gotta be able to bounce back with a few here. Not expecting any tailers, I sure as hell can't blame you.
Rice -17.5
UAB coming off back to back thumpings. Rice plays well on the road...only to losses were at A&M and North Texas (who they happened to be tied with in the division). Rice is in the mix for C-USA championship so I don't expect a let down against a team who ranks in the 100s on almost every defensive stat imaginable.
UCF -17.5
Rutgers is a sinking ship. Dropped three of the last four games and were absolutely manhandled against a questionable UC offense. Gary Nova has failed to throw for over 200 yards in the last 3 games and has a whopping 13 INTS in just 9 games this season. UCF wasn't exactly fascinating to watch against Temple last week, but the way they finished had to build some type of momentum. Let's not forget that they are back at home this week and have prime time showing on ESPN and are trying to prove that they belong in a BCS matchup; style points should be evident. Style points against, what I may also add is arguably the worst secondary in college football. I expect the Knights to make a statement tonight and win big.
As always, feedback welcome!
