Often enough. I'd say it is damn near almost 50/50 when the line is this low. Even the sharps/oddsmakers that create/make these line moves aren't smarter than one random fumble.

I will say that I have seen line moves in the higher numbers (say, 30 to 27.5 within hours of the game) and I swear those work out 80% of the time. I had North Dakota win outright in football two or three years ago on some ludicrous line move at the last second.

That said, it isn't BS that a line would plummet like this so if you like to use the phrase "I'm on the right side", now is just about the perfect time. Just hope you aren't saying it with the word "but" in front of it in three-and-a-half hours!
