I don't get many chances to report on local conditions, but since I live about 20 miles west of the Academy, I thought I'd chime in. We've got a cold front moving in tonight that's going to drop the temps by almost 30 degrees. Also, snow starting in the morning and hanging around all day. Game time conditions call for snow, with both temps and winds in the teens, putting wind chill readings near 0. If I get any further insight after reading the paper in the morning I'll update here. UNLV. My book (NorthBet) has it at +2. I'd pound it harder at +3.5 though I don't believe it will get to that but rather the line will shrink to PICK but Air Force has been awful as of late. The win against Navy wasn't really that impressive. Navy was just playing bad football.

Also a good note that UNLV is 3-3 in the MW while Air Force is 0-6. UNLV lost their last 2 by about 7-10 points but those were pretty good teams.

UNLV will win by 10 or more.

Morning, Men. Just got done shoveling some snow and thought I'd give a weather update. The snow is going to stop around noon, then pick up again about 5pm. Kickoff conditions call for snow to continue, with both the temps and winds in the mid to low teens. Looks like a good game to turn on the tube, stock up the wood stove and pour a few cocktails. I noticed this morning Vegas is lowering the total and raising the line on the Force. If anything changes weather-wise, I'll update later.Good luck to all!

Air force has had a terrible year, with just two wins, against BCS Colgate and Army, NOT Navy. They are 3-6 ATS. UNLV has 5 wins and can become Bowl Eligable with a win tonight. If you have to wager on this game, go with UNLV. They have the most to play for.

My thought regarding this game is that UNLV's rush defense is simply terrible, allowing over 5 ypc. Unfortunately, for Air Force's their defense has more leaks than the Iraqi navy......For me I am leaning toward the over in this spot Over 60......Historically snow hasn't prevent points......if it is windy that is a different story...........Too close to call to have a lean toward a side in this one IMO

I never said there was going to be heavy snow. The only reason I started this thread, was to provide some input to the forum re:this game. Right now it is not snowing, but on the radar I see bands of snow that are heading in our direction. Where they will hit is anyone's guess. I personally took the under yesterday at 61.5. I think that with the conditions less than ideal, it seemed like the thing to do at the time. To me, the side is too close to call. I'm not trying to sway anyone's play one way or another, just looking to add a little local flavor to the board.
