NIU has had some issues against the pass, giving up 270+ yards per game and they haven't played any team nearly as dynamic as Ball State. Snead and Smith are fantastic wideouts. That NIU squad generally was regarded as a much better defensive team, giving up about 50 yards less than they are this season through the air. This year NIU is dead last in the conference against the pass & Ball State is #1 offensively through the air, averaging 323 yards per game. They'll need points to keep up with NIU and I think they use the aerial attack to do a lot of damage tonight.
