Texas A&M's Sumlin top USC Candidate

According to The Los Angeles Daily News, Kevin Sumlin has emerged as Southern California's top choice for the Trojans head football coach.

Sumlin, Boise State coach Chris Petersen, Vanderbilt coach James Franklin and Denver Broncos assistant coach Jack Del Rio are the most frequent names associated with USC. Current fill-in head coach Ed Orgeron will also be considered but is not expected to get the job.

Jon Gruden's name was also mentioned but he's listed for every major football opening so one has to take his name with a bit of caution/sarcasm.

They would be better off keeping there now head coach, who seems to be doing an excellent job, and whom I am sure the present players would prefer.
