    LSU @ Alabama
Big boy football will be played tonight. There won't be a lot of fancy stuff in this game with misdirection, spreading out defenses or no-huddle. The game will be won in the trenches. Both teams want to control the game by running the ball, mixing in the pass. Defenses have to stop the run and pressure the quarterback. It's good ole basic football pure and simple.

The third down battle will be worth watching throughout the game...especially when LSU has the ball. The Tigers lead the SEC and ranks second in the nation in third-down conversions. Alabama, however, has the best defense on third down in the SEC and is ranked seventh nationally.

Both teams have the talent, experience and coaching to win. Home field advantage hasn't meant much lately with the road team winning the last two. I lean Alabama in a low scoring game. Who do you like men....we're two hours from kickoff?

LSU should cover. I'm having a hard time not backing them ATS and a little ML.

Also, In the history of this rivalry, the total has only gone over 55 points 5 times in 77 games. All but one totaled 58 or less. I think the smart play is the Under.

Chunk, I haven't made a play at this point.

If I do, will probably take the under.

May be wrong but this looks like an old fashioned slobberknocker to me.

I'm leaning with both of you guys. It would be nice to see an old fashion slug fest for a change. Should be physical as always when these 2 hook up.

Bama the only way to go in my eyes.

I got them @ - 11 1/2 and was a little surprised to see them right now @ -14 when I just logged in. Thought we might see some Tiger cash come in late.

We all want to see a defensive battle, but I hate betting unders.

I trust Tide D, not so confident with Tiger D in this spot.

Should be a great game, but I think the Tide rolls here. Gut says Mad Hatter wil try and pull a couple cute ones here and Stout Bama D will throw it back in his face.

Metz always has a chance for a back door with all these points, but Bama D @ home will be the far superior team on the field tonight.

I really want to bet bama but 14 points is a lot in a low scoring slugfest like this. I also hate taking unders but that seems to be the only logical play here. My gut is telling me to just stay out of it but I think I'm going to throw a small bet on LSU to cover and some on the under just so I have a reason to watch and care. I really see this a coin toss.

Also and I HATE betting college football unders.

LSU with some good field position here lets see a deep punt at the end of it.
