| This is a very interesting PAC 12 prime time match up this coming Saturday night HOMECOMING week for the beavers of Oregon State. Both team played 2 common opponents this year Washington State and Utah. Stanford played @ Wash. St. on 9/28 as a 9 point chalks and won 55-17 covering the spread by 4 TD's on that day the Cardinals out gained Wash. St. by a margin of 187 yards (238-51) and averaging 6.0 per rush attempt  , Stanford had control of the time of possession 31:08 to 28:25.Oregon State played @ Wash. St. on 10/12 as a 2.5 point chalks and won 52-24 covering the spread by 25.5 points on that day the Beavers scored 4 TD's in the final quarter after entering the quarter tied @ 24, Oregon State had control of the time of possession 33:58 to 26:02.Stanford played @ UTAH on 10/12 as a 7.5 point chalks and lost 21-27 caught looking ahead to their next week opponents from UCLA on 10/19, on that day UTAH had the control of the time of possession 32:54 to 27:06. Oregon State played @ UTAH on 9/14 as a 3.5 point dogs and won in OT 51-48 on that day the beaver were out gained by the utes in rushing by 212 yards (260-48) giving an average of 6.7 yards per rush attempt to the utes.
