#2GL Leet, play makes sense.
I was also looking at Boise State TT U 27.5, as I think BYU's ground game chews up clock tonight.Comment -

#7It may be but this is no scrub at backup. He set all kind of records in Orgeon and is really talented and scrambling, running, and extended plays.Comment -

#11In their defense that's two really good dynamic offenses they played in Washington and Fresno.Comment -

#12Let's face it Boise State isn't the same team. This team was down last week to Nevada 17-3 before they decided to step it up. They start slow and that's not a good trend against a tough defense on the road.Comment -

#13Yea they have started out slow in two games, Washington and Nevada. Other than that they've played fine early. I don't think this is the same Boise team either, but I do think this is the best running Boise team that we've seen under this staff. That could open some things up in the play action game against a defense that can certainly be vulnerable on the back end. I think the game is certainly best left alone, but we all love the action. Both teams can play good D so might play the prop first score not a TD +220Comment -

#15I'm not so sure. Last year in the Boise State/BYU game they ran the ball 40 times for 116 yards for an average of 2.9 yards per carry. 35 yards of that coming on a long run. You cancel that out your looking at 1.3 yards per carry. Unless this team drastically changed I don't see what your talking about. And DJ Harper was a beast and a vet.Comment -

I'm not real sure what you're talking about. Through 7 games this year compared to 7 games last year Ajay has 158 more yards rushing and 3 more tds on the ground than Harper did. He also avg 6.7 ypc last year and Harper barely doubled Ajay's yards from scrimmage last year on 168 more plays from scrimmage.Comment -

#20What i'm talking about is no matter how you twist it the "Offensive Line" is still the same. You can put Adrian Peterson (Oklahoma days) back there but it isn't going to matter if your line cant block the guys infront of them because of scheme problems. This will be the 2nd toughest defense that Boise State has played this year. My comments have nothing to do with Boise State RB's as a whole it has everything to do with the blocking scheme vs the defensive scheme of BYU. BOL bud.....Good conversation.....hope you win this weekend i'll be looking out.Originally posted by BbfromgptI'm not real sure what you're talking about. #21I got what you're saying, I was just implying what I said originally that this is one of BSU's best rushing attacks that I've seen. Didn't mean that it would translate to success for them against BYU. Sorry for the miscommunicationComment -

#23As most of us capped- BYU has phenomenal rush defense. Hedrick's only edge through the air (in previous games)was teams assuming he was coming in for a run play allowing him to exploit fully committed run looks. I feel strongly that the Southwick/Hedrick combo would have spelled disaster for byu, but that's a hypothetical.Comment -
