I didn't say the public would pound Clemson. I said the number was a direct reflection of public perception as a result of the beating Clemson had hung on them. I said much earlier in the week I thought the game should be somewhere around 20 (like Miami wake opener ) and I'm seeing the about 65% on Clemson at 16.5 which a) is nowhere near a top public play and b) indicates 20 would probably have been a pretty good number for equal money right now BUT I strongly feel the 65 will decrease. You're acting as if square betters jump on these games on Monday-thur.

This team is a lot better than the public perceives. Martinez is going to play and the offense will likely score 40+... Minnesota is very one dimensional which Nebraska's defense has always done well against since Pelini started coaching there.

Duong, I posted a game I liked earlier in your thread and hope you don't mind me throwing out another one I think has a good chance of cashing.
As I stated before...I play every game the same so discount "strongest" play for me. If I didn't think they were strong I wouldn't play them.
I view Georgia State @ La Monroe -12 as a good chance to make a profit. Neither team will remind us of Alabama but ULM (3-4) is far better than GS (0-7) and has played a more difficult schedule....plus they are at home.

Georgia Tech (-9.5)
The only reason UVA's defense isn't ranked last in the ACC is that their pass defense has been semi-respectable (outside of Ball St. and Duke who both ransacked them) but their best corner is out for the game and they are trying to play a benched safety at corner. The thing is, GT obviously doesn't throw more than 10 times a game and has been getting a decent push on the OL. UVA's best d-lineman, Eli Harold, is a pass rush specialist who has been getting pushed around on running plays all year and has been criticized for lack of a motor and inconsistent play.
Georgia Tech won in a rout last year 56-20, and UVA is largely the same outside of the fact that they fired their defensive coordinator and have a first year DC this year, who hasn't shown much improvement. UVA is imploding, and their fans are hurting them more at home than helping them as its hard for anybody to play in an empty stadium. With temperature today in Charlottesville in the 30's and a complete lack of support from the fanbase, they have zero homefield advantage. UVA will continue to self-destruct.Comment -
I don't like your Duke play. Virginia Tech has one of the top 2 defenses in the country and they are coming off a bye which allowed them to return last year's 1st team All ACC cornerback Antone Exum who sat out the first 7 games after having his knee repaired this offseason. The defense is already loaded and leads the nation in INT's and tied for 1st in the ACC in sacks so I don't think they needed any more help. Also, the rumor is there are some big time recruits coming to Blacksburg for the game and I expect VT put their foot on the pedal and not take it off until the game is over. Duke hasn't played in a stadium like Blacksburgs this year, and went down 20 to zip to UVA last week before scoring 35 straight pts to win as 2.5 pt dogs (a game I picked Duke in as a lock) yet I cant take the Blue Devils this week because if they fall behind early they stand no chance to come back against this staunch defense which may be the best in the countryComment -
