    Clemson -14 at Maryland
Wrote this up in another thread, but once I read it back I thought it should have a standalone because I feel so strongly about this pick.

    Maryland Injuries
2 starting wide receivers (out for year)
2 starting corners (1 out for year, 1 will return late in year)
2 starting linebackers (1 out for year, 1 will return late in year)
    Starting quarterback (doubtful)
    Starting tailback (doubtful)

Wake Forest was blown out 56-7 by Clemson and beat the terps (or the team formerly known as the terps) 34-10 last week. Wake Forest does not have an NFL prospect that I'm aware of on their defense- clemson has at least 4. Wake Forest was able to sack and re injure CJ Brown. Clemson is fresh off a loss to one of the top 3 teams in the country, they are still very much a top 10 team with NFL talent on both sides of the ball. This line is a GIFT.

    Maryland scoring average
First 4 games of season- 39.75ppg allowing opponents 10.25
Most recent 3 games of season- 12.3ppg allowing opponents 41ppg

Just asked about this in the opening line thread. Honestly thought i was overlooking or missing something. Almost still feel like this is too good to be true but still putting clemson in the picks no doubt abt it.

Wally its trying to take advantage of the public that got burnt on clemson in primtime and see a 5-1 vs 5-2 matchup with the home team getting 14. The same folks who thought they were getting a steal with Clemson plus money are gonna get double penetrated.

Well since most of the public is on Clemson, I don't know what you mean.

If you don't think Clemson is going to be a public favorite on Saturday then I don't know what to tell you.

I suppose for your every season run of the mill sports bars regulars this could be true. But it really should be a no-brainer. Although, as I type that im getting a creeping feeling maryland may do something spectacular however im hoping not since my moneys on clemson.

id bet clemson up to 24. Might sell points and do just this.

Agree. I think Maryland is in disarray lately. Clemson will put out their frustration on the Terps
