Who Else is on this?....3 unit max play for me this week. SDSU coming off a bye week and has had time to plan against Fresno. Fresno Defense is improving along with the dual RB run-game. Fresno D HAS to contain SDSU RB Pumphrey and the run-game. Make SDSU have to go in the air to beat them. Fresno D is key here. National televised ESPN2 Carr/Bulldogs gonna make statement this weekend.

I think Fresno D holds SDSU's running game long enough to build a good enough lead to force SDSU to air it out, which they don't seem to be great at.

Which is basically how they beat UNLV. UNLV was avg in the upper 30s or in the 40s for rushing attempts, and they only went 25 times against Fresno.

I never knew what to make of DeRuyter, I always felt he rode the coattails of Von Miller in the 2010 season because after that we were bad. He seems to be doing fine now.

Mike Sherman was an idiot who didn't know jack shit about the college game and didn't know how to motivate or keep our players in shape.

KD I'm going play Fresno ML, Fresno TT, SDSU TT, the OVER here, Fresno 3Q, and possibly SDSU 4Q play here. Defense? not in this game. Ultimately Fresno pulls way in 3Q but SD will be able to score as they have a balanced attack and they play better at Qualcomm. I think a lot of teams' defenses look great against Idaho (who starting and backup QBs have had injuries) and UNLV, so I'm not completely sold on the dogs' D... Carr is so damn accurate this year and his pre-snap reads sound (NFL ready IMHO), he should be able to hookup with Adams for at least 2, if not 3 TDs as he will have great matchups all night for him to show off his speed against a defense giving up 280 passyds/game and 373 passyds/game at home (E. Illinois lit up the house).

Yea Deruyter picked up alot at Texas A&M I think. Good looking out A&M...DeRuyter has been a gem for us. Fast offense. Last coach Pat Hill was too slow in the offense. DeRuyter has put the program where it should be.

Carr going first round is debatable. There's what, at least 5 guys on the QB board in front of him ?He's one of 10 qbs at 70 pct and he's playing against the weaker defenses then a lot of other guys- on the flips side I guess he doesn't have the WR help that guys like Manziel, winston, and petty do. Wether he goes late firs or early 2nd I still think he's quite mechanically sound and fun to watch.

And, to be honest, I am not sold on them making the BCS. NIU is ahead of Fresno in almost all the computer polls, and if they win out---it is going to be anyone's guess as to which Non-AQ school makes it in.

If NIU gets to within one spot of Fresno State in the human polls, they will be the BCS team.

NIU fails the eye test this year. They barely beat Idaho and do not look as dominant as Fresno. Fresno should end with the better schedule as well.
