Jezus Christ the refs are doing a nice worksop on how to make calls for the home team .... giving an interception that was not even a catch, let alone a catch in bounds. Now saying it is not a touchback, while it clearly touched the pylon.

After watching some of these latest college football games, I have more respect than ever for the NFL and their officials.
Why do they not stop and review the interception in the endzone? I had to super slow my DVR and I wasn't sure if he had his foot down a 2nd time before the other foot hit or if he had possession. Take 60 seconds and review it, it's a freaking big time play. Then you have the latest, where the ball hits the pylon which is an automatic touchback and it's not bad enough that the refs miss is, but there isn't an immediate stoppage to review it? The UCF coach has to waste a time-out?
I'm upset because this is what makes college football a major joke at times, (minus the commentators), and makes the NFL game head and shoulders above the college game.
The NCAA needs to get standardized replay equipment and rules, and review all turnovers for a minimal set of time, and I get tired of hearing that "all plays are reviewed". That's BS, because I've seen numerous plays that were obvious turnovers or super close that should be stopped and reviewed.
Either do your actual job or give NCAA coaches their own challenges similar to the NFL.
The real fix is getting better officials and rules in place, but it's the NCAA, so I know that's not going to happen.

I could be unaware of the rule... But do touchbacks on punts go to the 20? I know it's 25 on kickoffa but I'm 95% sure on ucf punt into endzone they spotted the ball on the 20... Please tell me it's a weird rule or my eyes r playin tricks .. Refs can't be that bad, can they?Comment -
I watch too much football, to be subjected to this type of repeated incompetence. I can understand when a team like Oregon is playing and you don't have time to get replays in, but not when a play is repeatedly shown over and over. If a team does snap the ball super fast, maybe the NCAA should have multiple replay officials in the booth. For a "business" that will one day be upended by super conferences which will leave the NCAA, they should start to take their job a little more serious.Comment -
