Starting to like this play a lot.

Think Mizzu may be a bit over rated at the moment espicially with their starting QB out for this game.

UF's D is the real deal.

    Thoughts?

Floridas rabid secondary + Mizzou freshman QB = Pick city.

Gators have a lot of injuries. Keep in mind this is Mizzu's Sec Home opener.

Gators play great D, but that O can sputter.

Love that Mizzu D-line. They bring pressure.

Mauk is green, but highly touted. He beat out the kid from last year that stepped in to relieve Franklin. A lot of guys were saying he was impressive in camp. A full week @ the helm of 1st team and being at home should help. Kid wasn't rattled when he stepped in "between the hedges" last week. Real hard place to play and he should have a little confidence from that. He has some great receivers to throw to, but Gators will do all they can to bring pressure and confuse.

I'm taking the points @ home. Should be a great game.

He wasnt rattled? I distinctly remember them having to burn 2 timeouts because he was in full blown panic mode.

Yes, good point. Nothing harder than coming off the sideline as QB. Those guys get maybe 5-10% of reps with first team. Crowd noise was a big issue. Hell, I see NFL backups step into games rattled.

Bottom line, he got in done and came away with the W in a brutal place to play. Didn't fumble or throw a pick. Metts from LSU even came up short between the hedges, but GA injury list has increased since then.

What about Mizzou's Defense versus the Gators offense?

Georgia only put up 26 against MU at home, and there is no way Florida (with back ups and QB and RB) can top that in Columbia

Georgia had backups at every skill position besides WR. Heres the bottom line- Florida has played offenswa that are more dynamic than Mizzous and forced them to play Floridas style of football. They frustrate teams into making mistakes.

I actually thought the backup looked like crap. I'm taking the Gators. They'll eat that young QB alive.

Got a standard 1 unit play on UF -2.5 (-110) when the line first opened. It actually opened at -1.5 but jumped in a matter of 60 sec...

Just have a feeling UF takes this one, tempted to go in on ML for another couple units.

When the higher ranked team is the dog, they tend to lose.

Not saying that's the only reason but I do feel like Mizzu is over rated at the moment.

7 of last 8 UF games under the total. Mizzou defense seems above average, Florida defense is great. 2 backup quarterbacks... I wouldnt bet the over at +120
