Yes there is always a possibility, hey that GT game last week was close right up to the end and could have easily went the other way. Miami escaped an upset there. UNC has more offense than GT but Miami should win but anything can happen. No one knows that better than Irish1!!

prolly a dumb notre dame fan..THe reason why GT played miami so tough is bcuz they run the ball so well..Miami has the #1 pass D in the nation, Granted they havent played teams that can sling it but it still hasta account for so rthing..No miami rolls unc by 3 tds & makes a statement to the nation..The U is not to be taken lightly this year

Their is always a chance, but, I wouldn't put money on it.

Canes match up real well here.

Yes, Canes are on the road and UNC QB Renner should play. Guy can throw, but coming off injury and going against one of the top defensive secondarys in the country. I bet he wishes this game was against the powerhouse of Mid- Tenn. Heels only cover, i might add.

Canes can run the ball. Heels can't. Cane Rb Duke Johnson is going beast. What did the guy gallop for, 180+ against Wrecking Crew. Johnson thinking of a big day with the nation watching on espn. Heels run D ranked #101. QB Morris is a threat and the pass will set up the run and vice versa.

Canes O-line will have left tackle Henderson (susp) and Center McDermott (ank) back and will be stronger.

Canes will control the clock and take away the fans with some big plays. Offense can explode. Renner should struggle against the strength of the Miami pass D. All they have to do is play the pass and Golden will be sending LB's and Corners. No Benard to keep them honest. No way they sit back and let Renner get comfortable.

I like the Canes a lot here. Watched at - 7 1/2 hoping for 7. Grabbed 8 when it looked like it was moving higher. 9 1/2 now.

Bottom line for me, Canes cash tickets, Heels don't. Golden is doing a great job in Miami. Don't be surprised if they aren't playing for a BCS game @ end of season. Can't see them losing here. Canes by 10-14. Lay it if you play it. gl with your choice.

Leaning UNC now that the line is at +9.5. UNC usually plays Miami tough, especially at home. Only once in the last 6 years did UNC lose to Miami by DD and that was on the road. Probably a good idea to fade the public and take the home dog in this one.

I'm more interested in the total points as I'm not worried at all about the spread. UNC couldn't stop ECU and Miami is like ECU on steroids. UNC's defense is in disarray. Miami will score on long run plays and long pass plays. It's that simple. UNC will put up some points at home. I'm leaning towards the under 64.

Miami starts slow sometimes, if anyone was to take UNC it would problem be best to take the spread 1st half.

Under. The spread is a toss up to me. Coming from a Miami fan, I would be very wary of laying over a touchdown in this game.

How many of those years did one of the teams have a losing record when they met?

Miami 9-2 ATS last 11 road games. Miami 4-1 ATS last 5, UNC 1-4 ATS last 5.

I do not think that past performance ATS is a good sole predictor of future results simply posting a counter argument to the other trends.

Miami coming off a short week could come out pretty flat against a tarheel team that is playing on national tv against a top ten team. I like the Under as well as Tar Heels +6 first half. I wouldnt be surprised if Miami ran away with it in the second half but I could see a few stops early in the game.
