UCF Takes Big Hit on Defense

UCF took a major hit this week when starting DE Blake Keller left the team. Keller told HC George O'Leary that
his heart was not into Football any more. Keller led the team in sacks.

DE Blake Keller was a Freshman. His FIRST and only start was last game 10/5.

Kid showed potential and nobody likes to lose depth, but Green and Niles @ either DE spot will do fine.

I don't know the details on why he left and want to give him the benefit of the doubt. Hope he works whatever issues out he has. Football is a tough sport, big commitment with time and training. Usually guys that leave mid season and let their team down, well. Football is like family, you gut sh*t out. Quitters suck.

Let's just say I hope this moves the line up a bit more. I have UCF + 12 1/2.
