Hey guys, was curious as to your input on a few lines...please be as in-depth and detailed as you'd like to explain your point of view.
* Disclaimer: I'm a UCLA fan; I've wagered on them twice [Nebraska, Utah -- Covered both].
Game 1: UCLA @ Stanford [Line opened Stanford a 6.5 favourite, moved down to 4 within 24-36 hours].
Game 2: The U (Miami) @ UNC (North Carolina) -- Currently @ Canes (-8)
While there are a couple other interesting lines (and feel free to bring these up), these two caught my eye.
Game 1 Discussion: [UCLA @ Stanford]
[Notes]:
- Stanford seems to be having a hard time defending decent passing teams (Washington State was throwing the ball pretty well against them for one observation).
- UCLA scoring an average of > 40 PPG
- Stanford passing seems like it could very well be lethal in itself (Again, @ Wash St. game)
- Last season Stanford had UCLA's number
My (homer*) lean: UCLA +pts
Game 2 Discussion: [Miami @ UNC]
[Notes]:
- Miami looking good, but not as much as hyped (Gators gave them a W)
- UNC looks mediocre, must win game for them
* I think this game could be like GT; close until Miami gets a lead (if*), then their defense takes over as UNC tries to play catch-up.
My lean: Miami (-8)
Any input? I figure there's people who've watched more of these teams than myself who have valuable input, and at the end of the day we're all trying to make $ off the same system.
