Getting in on the fun - 64% on the year NCAAF
Unfortunately I don't have the ability to make live bets, but I take part in a fairly big pick 'em league every year with a nice payout($200 buy in). 7 picks per week, point spreads only. The nice thing is that once the lines are set, they don't move like they do with the live books. I dig this board, lots of good stuff being brought to the table, good discussions and a nice contingent of trolls/morons to keep things fun and interesting. I figured I join in the fun.

So far here are my total records by week:

    4-3, 5-2, 3-4, 4-3, 5-2 and 6-1

12-13 in NFL games(5 per week), having some struggles there. But I think I've got a good grasp on a number of teams and only getting more and more info as each week goes by.

Anyways here are my picks for the week:

    Rutgers (+17.5) over #8 LOUISVILLE - W
    #12 Oklahoma (-13.5) over TEXAS
NORTH TEXAS (-5.5) over Middle Tenn
    #16 WASHINGTON (+13.5) over #2 Oregon
#23 NORTHERN ILL (-21.5) over Akron
    WISCONSIN (-10.5) over #19 Northwestern
TEXAS STATE (-7.5) over UL Monroe

27-15 on the season after week 6
    15-6 the past 3 weeks
    1-0 this week

    Here we go for 7-0.

Feel free to comment/back/ridicule my picks. GL to everyone this weekend.

I'm struggling with it because of all the noise that Oregon is going to roll them badly. I just don't think it happens this year. The numbers say otherwise, and my eyes tell me UW is capable of the upset. Honestly I think 13.5 is too big to pass up on a game like this.

And I say this as a full on Husky-hating Coug. I've taken all emotion out of this pick. I think this game comes down to the last possession.

Thanks guys. I have til 9am if I want to make any adjustments. It's a double edged sword though, sometimes over think and 2nd guess a pick and jump out of it for a loser.

Nice set of plays and take it to the pay window! Unfortunately you will not be taking that stroll compliments of the Huskies, as they are not going to get it done against the Mighty Ducks from Oregon! I have Oregon on my ledger.

I'm from Oregon and LOVE the Ducks but am worried about tomorrow. I think it's easy to look through 50+ point wins and forget the zero talent the Ducks have played. Also, the Ducks are like a snowball rolling down hill. When they get it going it rolls and rolls and rolls.

But, when it stalls they don't do well. Again, I'm a HUGE Duck fan and hope I'm wrong but there is a reasonable chance they look bad tomorrow in the face of the only real competition they have seen all year. Will they cover? I'm going to bet not. I like the +13.5 and the Huskies.

It all just depends on if ORE can get the "snowball" rolling.

My take on this is the Oregon players and coaching staff are sick of hearing how they have not played anyone, and they also know this is a statement game in there search for the number one ranking, and for the BCS Championship game, so they are going to come out on a mission to prove to the people, and to the pollsters that they are the best of 2013-2014!

Oklahoma shit the bed. Looks like Wisconsin is rolling like most here thought they would. No 7-0 for me this week but both UW and UW look like they will cover if they keep it up.

1-1 for the weekend so far
